about

Los De Los Demonios (Spanish; book of demons) is a collection of structured improvisations inspired by various native american folklore & demonology. This marks one of Sonnet’s most mysterious records to date. The dark energy on this record brings together both extended techniques & ingenious lullabies. An audible paradox weaving between improvised, primordial song while expressing angular, repetitious structures. It’s almost as if one can visualize a flock of wrens franticly chirping against a wind of strings, their feathered bodies darting and skipping through crackling leafless branches.
